International Reference Groups

Reference group meetings and their discussions, play a key role in Fronter Platform development. The Fronter Reference Group members serve as a vital ‘hotline’ to the changing educational context and the users' needs. They ensure that the direction of Fronter development is based on the choices and decisions of professionals within the education community.

The Mandate:

The reference group is an advisory board to Fronter. This board puts forward proposals and requests for changes and further development of the Fronter Platform. The reference group is responsible for prioritising change requests sent in by all existing users, and proposed development plans.

Where:

A national reference group is formed in each country where Fronter has been used for a period of 2 years.

When:

National reference group meetings are held twice annually in the country of origin. At these meetings, members will meet with the Fronter development team, and discuss present and future product development in line with their evolving needs.

International Reference Group Room:

As well as face-to-face meetings, reference group members are invited to join the Fronter International Reference Group Room. Here members from all national reference groups can meet online to:

  • Discuss relevant development issues
  • Give and receive feedback on product change requests
  • Comment on product prototypes

This International Reference Group Room ensures that the development process remains open and transparent to all the relevant Fronter stakeholders.
