How to login
The first time you log in
1.Type in your building name and go to login
2.Type in the username and password that you normally use in
Fronter and tap log in
3.Start using the app
Different login
If you do not know your building's name, you can log in with a
url. This url may be different from school to school. To find your
url, please follow these steps:
1.Log into Fronter on your computer as usual
2.When on the today page, you can see the url in your browser's
address bar
3.Open the app on your mobile
4.Tap Different login
5.Type in the url, ensuring to leave out "main.phtml" and go to
login
If you have problems logging in, please contact the Fronter admin at your school.
Functionality
The functionality in our mobile app is restricted to reading. You
will not be able to edit content or upload files.
News
Read news from the rooms you have access to.
Messages
Read messages from rooms you have access to. And view Stickies you
have received.
Notification
You will get the same notifications in this app as the ones on
your Today page.
News, messages and notifications will show elements from the past
31 days and the following 3 months.
Calendar
In the calendar you will see all appointments from your personal
calendar and calendars from rooms you have access to. You can open
them, and see details on date, time, description, participants and
owner.
In this version you are unable to add new appointments or accept /
decline.
You can access appointments from the current calendar year.
Resources
Here you can browse your My Documents and Resource folders in
rooms. Your My Documents area will always be on top! If your
Resource folders appear empty, it is likely that you don't have any
rooms listed as favourites. Please log in to Fronter on your
computer as usual and add the rooms you wish to see as favourites.
The rooms will then be added to your app shortly.
Not all file formats are currently supported. You will not be able
to access forums, pages and tests.
