Digital posters -Primary

Tools: Forum

According to good educational practice, we often glue the pupil's book or movie reviews and other papers on colourful cardboard posters and thumbtack to the wall. The digital equivalent has even got the possibility for the pupils to add comments to each other's work.

Create a forum, preferably the type "Discussion". This can be done from the forum tool or a resource folder. Set the task. You can write the criteria, learning goal or link to internal or external documents and pages for the pupils to use.

The students can in their turn write their papers and upload images, like on a poster, but can also embed video clips, links etc. When contribution is posted, they can comment on each other.Digital Posters

Often, we do this in the class rooms, but it's also nice to have these book and movie reports in the school's library room, i.e. with one forum for each year group or for each genre.
