Large Video Files

I use Fronter with adult learners.  One of the things I use Fronter for is to organise and give students access to training videos for review or for continuing personal development.    Some they have already seen in learning events, others are supplementary.  Many of them are very large files - a bit too large for Fronter.

I upload these large files to a YouTube Channel, but make them unlisted. It is now possible to upload videos of longer than 15 minutes to YouTube on application.  The only way to access these videos is via the link, they will not show up on youtube searches etc. People do not have to login to their YouTube account in order to view the video. There is no limit on the amount of people that can view the video. The video will not display on your YouTube Channel page.   Here is a link to a video that explains how to make YouTube videos unlisted.

Another useful point is that each link is different, so students only get to see the videos that you want them to view, at the time and in the order you want them to view them.  "Simples!"
